2.2. Data Storage Location

All user data is stored and processed exclusively within the European Union (Supabase EU-West-1 region, Frankfurt, Germany) to comply with GDPR data localization requirements. We do not transfer personal data outside the EU without explicit consent.

2.1. Email Communications

Free Tier Users:

  • You will receive ZERO emails from JobPing
  • We do not send welcome emails, newsletters, or job alerts to free tier users
  • Your email is only used for account identification
  • Your data is automatically deleted after 30 days of inactivity

Premium Tier Users:

  • You will receive job match emails 3 times per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 9 AM GMT)
  • Welcome email with 10 job matches immediately upon signup
  • You can unsubscribe or pause emails anytime from email footer or account settings
  • Your data is retained as long as your subscription is active

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as described in this policy.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

6. Data Retention

Free Tier: Your account data (email, preferences, matches) is automatically deleted 30 days after signup if you don't upgrade to Premium.

Premium Tier: Your data is retained for as long as your subscription is active, plus 30 days after cancellation for billing purposes.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations.
